The pose is VERY sculpture like.

One related comment here.

Sometimes I feel that the lines, curves and shadows of the more average models - those viewed as the ';perfect people' - are the centre of focus too much in art. People come in a lot of shapes and sizes and a good photographer SHOULD be able to find a way to show beauty or to convey art with a variety of physical types. Yet, if I look at art photography the majority of it is of caucasian (European extraction) healthy young people; some of them very muscular and others slender, but very few are of a sample of AVERAGE humanity.
